Man who abused child is sentenced after admitting two charges

A Lawrence Weston man who admitted sexually abusing a child when he was a teenager has been sentenced.

Jordan Holly, of Broadlands Drive, was dealt with at Bristol Crown Court today (March 26).

The 23-year-old pleaded guilty to two charges of having sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl.

The court heard the offences are historical.

Sentencing judge The Recorder of Bristol His Honour Judge Peter Blair QC handed him a two-year prison sentence, suspended for two years.

Holly, who was ordered to register as a sex offender, was told to participate in a sex offender programme as directed and carry out 175 hours of unpaid work.
