A police manhunt has been launched after a man wearing a dress indecently exposed himself to a 15-year-old girl.
The shocking incident took place in Kirkgate Park, Kinross, at around 9.30pm on Monday, July 26.
The teenager and another woman, who is in her 30s, were targeted by the man who officers say was wearing a purple and white dress at the time of the incident.
He is then reported to have run away in the direction of the nearby golf course.
The suspect is believed to be around 6ft tall, of a slim build and has short, scraggly hair.
He was also wearing a dark hoodie.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the man in the area or who recognise the description to get in touch.
A Police Scotland statement said: “We are investigating an incident which occurred in Kirkgate Park, Kinross, about 9:30pm on Monday 26th July.
“A man deliberately indecently exposed himself to a 15 year old girl and a woman in her 30s before running off in the direction of the nearby golf course.
“He is described as about 6ft tall, slim build with short scraggly dark hair, and was wearing a purple and white dress with a black hoodie.
“Although there were no other witnesses in the immediate vicinity at the time, given the very distinctive description it is possible he could have been seen elsewhere nearby during the evening.
“If you have any information that could assist our investigation, please call 101 or speak with any police officer.
“Also, information can be given anonymously through CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111. Our reference is incident 3242 of 27th July.”
