POLICE are appealing for help to locate a man wanted on an outstanding warrant, who is believed to be around Newcastle.
Jake Clarke, 23, is wanted by virtue of an outstanding arrest warrant related to a shooting earlier this year.
Fairfield City Police Area Command investigators attached to Strike Force Bellvue, are conducting inquiries to locate Mr Clarke.
He's described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175 centimetres tall, of medium build and with brown hair and eyes.
Police believe he may be "frequenting Newcastle and its surrounding suburbs".
They have urged the community not to approach Mr Clarke if they see him, but to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
