Man wanted in connection with attempted murder of taxi driver in Bury

A 37-year-old man is wanted in connection with the attempted murder of a taxi driver in Bury on Saturday.

Greater Manchester Police have released images of Richard Steven McCormack and have launched an appeal to find him.

The force said in a statement: "Richard Steven McCormack, (20/08/1984), is wanted in connection with the attempted murder of a taxi driver in Bury on January 8, 2022."

Police have warned people to 'not approach the man' and to contact the police 'immediately'.

Anyone with information about McCormack's whereabouts should contact police via LiveChat on their website, call 101.
