Police urge people to call 999 if they see this man

Police are appealing for help to find a man wanted following a number of serious domestic abuse offences.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary is trying to trace Matthew Smith, pictured, whom officers believe is in the Bristol area.

It is the second time they have appealed for information about his whereabouts in five days.

He is a white man aged 40, 6ft tall of broad build with dark brown hair and beard.

A force spokesperson said: "If seen do not approach but call 999 quoting reference number 5219073154."

You can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their  Anonymous Online Form.

No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting Crimestoppers.
