Man wanted by police after broad daylight car wrecking rampage

A man is wanted by police after a car wrecking rampage took place on a Kirkby street.

It was reported that significant damage was caused to a number of vehicles on Mill Lane at around 2pm on Saturday, March 9.

Wing mirrors, windows and bodywork damage was caused to a number of cars on the road.

Following the incident, which happened in broad daylight, officers have attempted to locate David Samuel Corkhill.

The 36-year-old is believed to have information that could assist Merseyside Police 's investigation into the incident.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We are appealing for the public’s help to trace a 36-year-old man who may have information that could assist an investigation into an incident of criminal damage in Kirkby.

"It was reported that at around 2pm on Saturday, 9 March damage was caused to a number of vehicles in Mill Lane, Kirkby.

"Police believe David Samuel Corkhill could hold vital information that may assist their investigation and are appealing for information about his whereabouts.

"Corkhill is described as white, 5ft 6in tall with brown hair, green eyes and of proportional build.

Extensive efforts have been made by the police to find Corkhill but he remains outstanding.

Detectives would ask Corkhill himself, or anyone who knows his whereabouts or recognises him from the attached photograph and knows where he is to contact Merseyside Police.
