Police are appealing for the public's help to find wanted man Josh Ryall.
Avon and Somerset Police said: "We’d like to speak to the 30-year-old in connection with two assaults – one of which was against a police officer.
"Ryall is white, approximately 5ft 9ins tall and has a shaved head and goatee beard.
"He is likely to be in the South Gloucestershire area."
The public are advised not to approach him if they see him, the police statement added.
The force is asking members of the public to call 999 immediately if they see him and provide the call handler with the reference 5220176760.
