In the video, he shows off the normal-looking kitchen before lifting up a counter to reveal a stairway down to a door.

So does it mean every time you need to go out the back you have to clear your countertop?

Naturally, a lot of people had questions about the unusual feature.

Obviously, some people blamed London for its odd setup.

The video has been retweeted more than 11,000 times and sparked a lot of curiosity.

"No-one wants a cereal killer to appear in their kitchen."

Lots of people warned Jamie against moving into the flat, with many dubbing the unusual feature "creepy."

One person replied: "I would never, ever, ever pay to live somewhere so creepy."

Another agreed, adding: "It is TERRIFYING. Has 2020 taught us nothing?"
