Manchester United have again made contact with Mauricio Pochettino about potentially replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the Old Trafford dugout.
The former Tottenham Hotspur boss has been repeatedly linked with the United job and, after a lacklustre defeat against Arsenal and a woeful loss to Istanbul Basaksehir, Solskjaer is once again under pressure.
Fresh reports claim that United have again approached Pochettino's representatives - having similarly done so a month ago - but they are unwilling to fire Solskjaer so early in the season.
However, if they do make the call to sack the Norwegian and replace him with Pochettino, then the Argentine will surely make some personnel changes.
Here, Mirror Sport takes a look at the winners and losers if United decide to bring in Pochettino.

Winners
Luke Shaw
His United career has been beset by injuries but, with the worst of his fitness problems seemingly behind him, the appointment of Pochettino could have a major impact on Shaw.
The defender broke into the England team while Pochettino was in charge at Southampton and the Argentinian's track record when it comes to developing full-backs means that Shaw could take his game to another level under the 48-year-old's management.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Pochettino could have a similar impact on Wan-Bissaka, who is already excellent defensively but needs to become more of a threat offensively.
The effectiveness of Kyle Walker and Danny Rose going forward was a hallmark of Pochettino's Tottenham side and he could help Wan-Bissaka become a bigger attacking threat.
Dean Henderson
Pochettino's faith in young, British talent was another hallmark of his time at Tottenham and Henderson could also benefit from his potential appointment.
David de Gea is currently ahead of him at United and Solskjaer has been adamant that the Spaniard is the first-choice but would Pochettino see things differently?
Axel Tuanzebe
An excellent display against PSG in the Champions League last month reminded everyone of Tuanzebe's ability but, despite being injury free, the defender has been starved of game time with Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof preferred.
Pochettino's willingness to trust in youth could see Tuanzebe get an extended run of first team football and that would only help the 22-year-old's development.
Mason Greenwood
A supremely talented forward who has already proven he has what it takes at the highest level, netting 17 goals in all competitions last season and breaking into the England squad, Greenwood could also benefit from the influence of Pochettino.
He placed his faith in a young Harry Kane while at Tottenham and helped him develop into one of the most consistent goalscorers in world football.
Could he do the same for Greenwood?

Losers
Nemanja Matic
Aged 32, Matic is nearing the end of his playing career and Pochettino's tendency to favour youth and his high-intensity pressing style mean the Serbian would be unlikely to play much of a role at United if they were to change managers.
Paul Pogba
Pochettino's man-management skills and ability to get the best out of players is well documented but could he finally be the man to get the best out of Pogba at Old Trafford?
With the Frenchman repeatedly expressing his desire to leave the club, the other options in his position and the fact that Pochettino has not been afraid to let big players leave, Pogba may end up on his way out of United if the former Spurs boss joins.
Though that could, of course, be seen as a win for the midfielder.

Alex Telles
With Shaw's strong pre-existing relationship with Pochettino, with the full-back once saying his former boss "used to call me his son", Telles would likely end up as second choice.
That's not what he was thinking when moving from Porto in the summer window.
