Manchester United look set to have a busy January ahead of them, with a number of players in contention to leave Old Trafford as Ralf Rangnick aims to mould his squad.
One of those linked with a January exit is Edinson Cavani, who is out of contract in the summer but looks set to leave even sooner after seeing himself pushed to the fringes by the summer arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Uruguayan impressed in his first season as a United player, but is thought to be unhappy with the lack of minutes as he aims to fire his country to the 2022 World Cup.
Barcelona and Corinthians have both been linked, with a permanent exit reportedly drawing closer, and the situation seems to be in keeping with Rangnick's comments about the Red Devils' ins and outs.

"For me, it’s about developing those players but if a player wants to leave because he feels he will not get enough game-time here with us then we can speak about that, but it’s not only about what the player wants, it’s also about the situation of the club," Rangnick said.
"Two things need to come together if a player wants to leave – one thing is if he wants to leave, but on the other hand the needs of the club need to be satisfied."
While things can still change in the last few days of the year, veteran Cavani appears to be one example where the player and the club see eye to eye.
According to Sport (via Sport Witness ), a January move is very close to completion, with Barcelona due to bring Cavani to Camp Nou.
The Catalan club have already agreed a fee to bring Manchester City forward Ferran Torres, and Cavani looks to be on the verge of becoming their second attacking signing after the retirement of Sergio Aguero left Xavi's side thin up front.
Barcelona's deal for Cavani is reportedly "well on track," with the striker expected to take a pay cut to sign an 18-month deal with the club, though it remains unclear whether United will demand a fee.

Cavani might not be the last United player to leave in January, with Anthony Martial making clear his desire to find a new club.
The 26-year-old has also been linked with Barcelona, with Sevilla another of his potential destinations as he aims to keep himself in the thoughts of France manager Didier Deschamps.
Jesse Lingard and Diogo Dalot have also been linked with moves away from Old Trafford, while Rangnick is expected to strengthen in other areas.
Midfield remains a significant focus, with Amadou Haidara and Boubacar Kamara among the names mentioned in connection with an Old Trafford move, while United are one of the clubs who could come in for Argentina forward Julian Alvarez if he decides to leave River Plate.
