Man Utd vs Leicester City: Prediction, tickets, live stream, TV, team news - Premier League 2019-20 preview

Man Utd vs Leicester City
Premier League 2019/20 season
Venue: Old Trafford
Date: Saturday, 14th September, 2019
Kick-off time: 3pm BST

Manchester United face a tough test this weekend as Brendan Rodgers brings Leicester City to Old Trafford on Saturday.

United started the new Premier League season with a superb 4-0 home win over Chelsea, but since then, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are winless with draws at Wolves (1-) and Southampton (1-1) sandwiched in between a shock 2-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace.

Leicester have started the new campaign well with eight points from four matches, and Rodgers' unbeaten Foxes will fancy their chances of a win at Old Trafford - while James Maddison will want to make an impact as the Red Devils eye a potential January transfer.

Team news and predicted lineups

Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw are all definitely out of Saturday’s game at Old Trafford, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jesse Lingard face late fitness tests to be involved.

With Diogo Dalot and Eric Bailly also out, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is severely depleted in a key game against one of United’s rivals for the top four.

Meanwhile, Harry Maguire is set to line up against Leicester for the first time since leaving the Foxes for United in an £80million summer transfer.

As for Leicester, Wes Morgan is available after a back problem, although Matthew James (calf) and Daniel Amartey (ankle) are expected to miss out.

Man Utd XI: De Gea; Young, Lindelof, Maguire, Rojo; McTominay, Matic; Greenwood, Pereira, James; Rashford

Leicester XI: Schmeichel; Pereira, Evans, Soyuncu, Chilwell; Ndidi; Albrighton, Tielemans, Maddison, Barnes; Vardy

Prediction: Man Utd 2-2 Leicester

The visitors are unbeaten this season, and this match will be a real indicator of United's chances this season.

Leicester will sense a top-four finish is potentially up for grabs with Arsenal also in transition, and United's form since beating Chelsea suggests they may find Saturday tough going.
