Manchester United have secured their first win since the opening day of the season after a narrow 1-0 victory over Leicester.
In Harry Maguire’s first outing against his former club since his £80m arrival at Old Trafford, United secured just their second clean sheet in 20 matches with Marcus Rashford scoring the game’s only goal from the penalty spot.
Çağlar Söyüncü, the Foxes defender stepping in to fill the void left by Maguire’s absence, was guilty of giving away the spot kick, bringing down the England international after just seven minutes.
Having missed from 12 yards out in United’s last home game – a dreadful defeat to Crystal Palace – Rashford made no mistake in sending Peter Schmeichel to register his third of the season and the game's winner.
Rashford's effort sealed a much-needed three points for the Red Devils, sending them fourth in the table.
