The long-standing rivalry is reignited Down Under as the teams meet for the first time in almost eight years.
United got pre-season off to a winning start with a 2-0 victory over Perth Glory at the weekend with Marcus Rashford and James Garner on the score sheet.
David de Gea is expected to feature this afternoon with the goalkeeper now expected to remain at Old Trafford this summer.
