Man Utd vs Inter Milan
International Champions Cup 2019
Venue: National Stadium, Singapore
Date: Saturday, July 17, 2019
Kick-off time: 12:30pm BST
Manchester United are aiming for their third pre-season win on the bounce as they take on Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup on Saturday.
There are already signs of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's tactics being put into practice, with the Red Devils breaking at speed and showing a ruthless edge in front of goal to beat Perth Glory (2-0) and Leeds United (4-0) on the first leg of their pre-season tour in Australia.
United face an altogether different test in Singapore as they take on Italian giants Inter Milan. While the name may still scare plenty of fans, the Nerazzurri are not the European force they once were - but Antonio Conte has arrived at San Siro to change all that.
Here's what you need to know...
Predicted lineups, team news and Man Utd tour squad
Luke Shaw is fit after being withdrawn against Perth Glory with a hamstring issue.
David de Gea should be available after missing the last two games due to illness, although Romelu Lukaku is not available as Inter attempt to sign the Belgian striker.
Solskjaer insists that the forward is not fit to play, while Inter coach Conte has revealed his desire to sign Lukaku this summer.
Man Utd XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Jones, Smalling, Shaw; Pereira, Pogba, Matic; Lingard, Martial, Rashford
Inter Milan XI: Handanovic; D'Ambrosio, De Vrij, Skriniar; Candreva, Gagliardini, Brozovic, Sensi, Perisic; Esposito, Longo
Man Utd tour squad
Goalkeepers: David De Gea, Lee Grant, Joel Pereira, Sergio Romero
Defenders: Diogo Dalot, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Victor Lindelof, Marcos Rojo, Chris Smalling, Axel Tuanzebe, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young, Diogo Dalot
Midfielders: Tahith Chong, James Garner, Angel Gomes, Daniel James, Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, Scott McTominay, Andreas Pereira, Paul Pogba, Fred
Forwards: Mason Greenwood, Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford
Prediction: Man Utd 2-1 Inter Milan
While Inter Milan will certainly be a step up from Leeds, Solskjaer's side have scored six goals without reply in two pre-season games so far.
If United can show the same speed and clinical finishing as they did last time out, it should be another victory for Solskjaer's men.
