Man Utd vs Everton lineups: Team news and starting XIs as United academy reaches 4,000 not out

Manchester United have reached an historic milestone with today's squad to face Everton at Old Trafford.

With Scott McTominay, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford starting, and Andreas Pereira, Mason Greenwood, Azel Tuanzebe and Brandon Williams on the bench, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team selection marks the 4,000th consecutive game in which an academy graduate has been included in the United first-team squad.

Elsewhere for United, Luke Shaw starts at left-back to suggest he has won back his role as Solskjaer's first-choice pick ahead of Brandon Williams and Ashley Young.

Jesse Lingard returns from injury, while Richarlison leads the line for Everton as Duncan Ferguson targets another win as caretaker boss after masterminding a 3-1 victory over Chelsea last time out.
