Man Utd vs Burnley line ups: Predicted XIs for tonight’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford

Chris Smalling is knocking on the door for a return after seven weeks on the sidelines when Manchester United host Burnley in the Premier League on Tuesday.

The defender has not featured since December 8 due to a foot issue, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is considering him after training over the past week.

Marcos Rojo and Marouane Fellaini remain sidelined for Tuesday's match, while David De Gea will return in goal after being rested for the FA Cup win at Arsenal.

For the visitors, Robbie Brady is a major doubt.

The Republic of Ireland international picked up a groin injury in the Clarets' FA Cup thumping at Manchester City and is unlikely to be passed fit.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson could return after three weeks out with a thigh injury, but doubts also remain over Phil Bardsley and Matt Lowton.

Predicted line-up

Man Utd XI: De Gea; Young, Lindelof, Jones, Shaw; Matic, Herrera, Pogba; Lingard, Rashford, Martial
