Man Utd vs Brighton: Prediction, tickets, team news, TV, live stream, H2H, odds - Premier League preview

Manchester United continue their bid to claw their way back up the Premier League table at home to Brighton on Sunday.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side ended their away woes with three wins on the bounce, culminating in a fine 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Carabao Cup.

United were unable to make it four, reverting to type against Bournemouth last Saturday as they fell their fourth defeat of the season.

A much-improved performance against Partizan Belgrade in the Europa League on Thursday offered hope again, but United urgently need some consistency with the gap between them and fourth place once again standing at 10 points.

Premier League preview

Manchester United vs Brighton
Venue:
Old Trafford
Kick-off time: 2pm GMT, Sunday November 10

Prediction

Man Utd 2-1 Brighton

United played with real attacking verve on Thursday night with Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial all combining impressively and all getting on the score sheet.

Brighton will prove a much tougher nut to crack - but these are the games United simply must start winning.

Team news and predicted lineups

Manchester United will hope Victor Lindelof can recover from a back injury in time for Brighton on the Sunday.

The Sweden international suffered the knock in last week’s EFL Cup tie against Chelsea and aggravated it in defeat to Bournemouth in the following game.

Scott McTominay is also a doubt after limping off during Thursday's win over Partizan Belgrade.

United are already short in defence with Axel Tuanzebe, Eric Bailly, Luke Shaw and Diogo Dalot also out.

Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic complete Solskjaer’s extensive casualty list while Ashley Young is suspended.

United are desperate to return to winning ways in the Premier League before the international break after picking up just three victories so far this season.

Solskjaer has at least been boosted by a full strength attack, with Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Daniel James likely to be named as a front trio.

Possible Man Utd XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Jones, Maguire, Rojo; McTominay, Fred; James, Pereira, Rahsford; Martial
