Man Utd vs Barcelona
Uefa Champions League 2018-19
Quarter-final, first leg
Venue: Old Trafford
Date: Wednesday, 10 April, 2019
Kick-off time: 8pm GMT
Manchester United's reward for a stunning Champions League comeback against PSG is the chance to work out how to stop Lionel Messi and Barcelona.
Man Utd headed to Paris needed to overturn a 2-0 home defeat in their round-of-16 tie against the French giants, and Marcus Rashford's injury-time penalty secured a remarkable 3-1 win to send United through to the quarter-finals on away goals.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Red Devils have been handed arguably the toughest possible draw in the last eight as they take on LaLiga Barcelona, with Messi in sensational form as Ernesto Valverde's Blaugrana hunt down a possible treble.
Messi scored a brilliant hat-trick to earn Barcelona a 4-1 win at Real Betis to earn a rare standing ovation from opposition fans before the international break, and now Solskjaer's job will be to prevent the Old Trafford crowd from affording the Argentine a similar reward.
Man Utd vs Barcelona team news and predicted line-ups

Neither side has any suspension issues to worry about, with Paul Pogba free to return after serving his one-match ban during United's win in Paris.
United's main concern will be Anthony Martial, who dropped out of international duty with France after suffering more pain in his knee.
Alexis Sanchez is set to miss both ties due to a knee injury, though it is unlikely the Chilean would have started anyway.
Man Utd XI: De Gea, Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw, Matic, Herrera, Pogba, Rashford, Lingard, Martial
Barca will be hoping that Ousmane Dembele will have recovered from a hamstring injury in time, though he may be more likely to feature in the second leg on April 16.
Rafinha is out for the season, while Luis Suarez is an injury doubt after being ruled for 15 days from 18 March with an ankle problem.
Barcelona XI: ter Stegen; Semedo, Pique, Lenglet, Alba; Busquets, Roberto, Rakitic, Arthur; Messi, Suarez
Score prediction: Man Utd 1-2 Barcelona
If Messi is in the same sort of form as he has been before the international break, it is almost impossible to predict anything other than a Barcelona win - and that would be the same against any other club team in the world.
As with their stunning last-16 win over PSG, United may well have more joy on the road than at Old Trafford, with Solskjaer's tactics suited to playing on the counter-attack against possession-based teams.

Head to Head history and results (h2h)

Man Utd and Barca have met 11 times in Uefa competitions, with Barca edging United with four wins to three, and four draws between the clubs.
United got the better of Barca in the 2007-08 Champions League semi-finals as Paul Scholes' Old Trafford rocket secured a win en route to lifting the trophy that year.
However, Barca have since got their own back and then some, beating United in both the 2009 and 2011 Champions League Finals at Wembley.
