Manchester United finish their Europa League group-stage campaign against AZ Alkmaar on Thursday night.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side sealed qualification for the knockout stages of Europe's secondary club competition with two matches to spare but are still to clinch top spot in Group L following defeat to Astana last month.
They require only a point tomorrow to go through as group winners, while Alkmaar - who have also secured their progress into the last 32 - can clinch top billing with a win at Old Trafford.
United are currently riding high after successive Premier League wins over Tottenham and Manchester City that acted as a timely riposte to Solskjaer's critics.
The manager is now eager for them to produce similarly impressive performances against so-called 'lesser teams'.
Europa League preview
Manchester United vs AZ Alkmaar
Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester
Kick-off time: 8:00pm GMT, Thursday 12 December
Prediction: Man Utd 2-1 AZ Alkmaar
United's previously brittle confidence will be sky high after two stellar results that will have been all the more satisfying given they came against former boss Jose Mourinho and rivals City.
However, they will have to be careful against an Alkmaar side that currently sit second behind Ajax in the Eredivisie after plenty of high-scoring wins over the last couple of months.
The Dutch outfit are the current top scorers during the group stage and will certainly not make things easy.

Head to Head record (H2H)
These two teams met competitively for the first time in early October, with United failing to muster a single shot on target during a dull goalless draw in the Netherlands.
