Man Utd 1-1 Arsenal LIVE: Premier League 2019-20 result and reaction - as it happened at Old Trafford

Manchester United and Arsenal shared the points in a tense Premier League clash at Old Trafford tonight.

Scott McTominay put United ahead with a fine 20-yard strike on the stroke of half-time - the only real moment of quality in a stodgy first half fought in trying conditions as the rain pelted down.

United failed to build on their lead and were punished as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalised following a mistake by Axel Tuanzebe - the goal was initially ruled out for offside, but was given following a VAR review.

Both sides had great chances to win the game, but neither team had the quality required to seal all three points.

James Robson and James Olley are at Old Trafford tonight - follow all the reaction...

Prediction: Man Utd 1-1 Arsenal

It is a cliche, but this match could genuinely go either way given the lack of consistency from both sides so far this season.

If United can get an early goal, they will fancy their chances of strangling the game and breaking on the counter - but if Arsenal score first, the game will open up and suit the visitors.
