Man Utd transfer target Adrien Rabiot 'set to sign five-year deal with next club'

Adrien Rabiot will reportedly put pen to paper on a five-year deal with Juventus after agreeing terms with the Italian giants.

The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, who will leave the club on a free, will earn £6.2million a year in wages, according to El Chiringuito.

Rabiot was linked to a whole host of clubs ahead of the transfer window opening.

He was previously coy on where he would be heading, as the likes of Juventus, Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham, Arsenal and Barcelona all kept tabs on the Frenchman.

"It's true, Juventus have looked for me. We are talking to each other," Rabiot told Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport.

"I like Italy so much. Being in this place is wonderful, you rest and you will regenerate. A demanding season awaits me.

"We are evaluating, we cannot say anything. I do not know yet. Juventus are a great club where every good player would want to go.

" Manchester United ? It is the same. I have to decide, I'm on holiday for now."

If Juventus do manage to get the deal for Rabiot over the line he will become the club's second free transfer of the summer after Aaron Ramsey.
