Manchester United have been urged to offload Paul Pogba at the next opportunity as it is the "best time" to try and recoup a sizeable transfer fee.
The Frenchman's agent Mino Raiola went public with a statement of intent on Monday, claiming Pogba is "unhappy" at United and his time at the club is "over".
Raiola's comments could not have come at a worse time for United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, on the eve of their biggest game of the season so far as they prepare for the Champions League decider against RB Leipzig.
And pundit Ally McCoist feels it's high time United got shot of their superstar midfielder.
"The timing is shocking, and at the very best it’s selfish," McCoist told talkSPORT.

“I actually had to laugh at the bit about Paul being unhappy. I know one or two Man United fans who are quite unhappy with Paul!
“Who does he think he is coming out with that at this point in time?
"The timing is just so selfish, Man United and Solskjaer have got a massive game [vs Leipzig], absolutely massive, a game they cannot afford to lose, and he’s coming out with this nonsense."
Pogba still has another 18 months to run on his current contract at United but has previously talked up a "dream" move to Real Madrid.
A return to his former club Juventus has also been mentioned as a potential option by Raiola, and McCoist believes United should aim to cut their losses as soon as possible.
“If his contract expires in a year and a half, this probably is the best moment in time to sell him, because his value will be decreasing,” McCoist said.
Should Man Utd sell Pogba? Have your say below.

“I don’t think the move has been a [success]. A very talented player, he’s won a World Cup, but he’s not really hit it at Man United.
“Ole clearly prefers Fred and [Scott] McTominay in the holding positions in the middle of the park. He’s not going to play before [Bruno] Fernandes.”
McCoist added: “If you dissect what it does say, I don’t necessarily disagree that Pogba should go in January."
