Man Utd to announce stunning striker swoop today as ex-Man City starlet nears exit and Liverpool make u-turn on winger - Premier League rumours

Here's your round-up of all the latest rumours from across the Premier League..

Cavani to be unveiled by Man United

Edinson Cavani is closing in on sensational a move to Manchester United.

According to ESPN, the forward is set to travel to Manchester on Sunday from Paris to undergo a medical, ahead of signing a two-year deal at the club.

Cavani is a free agent after leaving PSG in the summer, and has reportedly been offered to United following a collapsed move to Atletic Madrid.

Matondo on the move

Wales winger Rabbi Matondo is set to leave Schalke before the close of the transfer window.

The former Manchester City and Cardiff City starlet was left out the matchday squad for Saturday's clash with RB Leipzig, due to what sources have described to WalesOnline as 'ongoing transfer discussions'.

The 20-year old's next move isn't clear yet, although several names have been mentioned as possible suitors in recent weeks.

Man United were understood to be monitoring the situation, identifying him a possible back-up for Jadon Sancho, while there has also been recent interest from Italy and elsewhere in Germany.

Lyon halt Aouar negotiations

Lyon's board have pulled the plug on negotiations with Arsenal over a potential deal for Houssem Aouar.

According to respected journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners have showed a reluctance to pay Lyon's €60m asking price.

Despite interest also coming from Juventus, PSG and Real Madrid, the player now seems likely to stay at the Ligue 1 side.

Klopp ready to keep Wilson

Liverpool have not ruled out keeping Harry Wilson, following the collapse of the winger's move to Burnley.

Burnley had initially offered a fee of £12m with a further £4m in add-ons in order to land Wilson, but The Athletic now claims that the Reds are waiting for the Clarets to increase their offer, although boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly refused to rule out keeping the Welshman.

There is a suggestion that Wilson may be kept should Xherdan Shaqiri confirm his departure from the club, with at least two clubs believed to be interested in the Swiss international.
