Man Utd have frozen season ticket prices for the eighth year in a row.

Season tickets at Old Trafford range from £532-950 without concessions.

This is the ninth time in 10 years that the club have frozen prices, despite a waiting list of more than 100,000 fans.

United are also creating a new singing section in the Stretford End, following successful trials this season, which resulted in record noise levels.

Group managing director Richard Arnold said: “The support from our fans and the atmosphere they generate is incredible, so we’re delighted to be freezing season ticket prices once again in recognition of that.”

United have given the clearest indication that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be made permanent manager by asking him to front the drive for ticket renewals.

The Norwegian has made an outstanding start as interim manager - losing just once since taking over from the sacked Jose Mourinho in December.

He is now considered the front runner ahead of long-term No1 choice Mauricio Pochettino, with United staff wondering why it is taking so long to confirm his appointment.
