Man Utd team vs Barcelona CONFIRMED for Champions League quarter-final clash

Manchester United's team to face Barcelona has been announced.

Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a handful of injuries to contend with and neither Nemanja Matic nor Ander Herrera - who have both been struggling for fitness - have made the cut.

Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial are also out of the starting XI.

Instead Solskjaer has selected a strong defence comprised of Ashley Young, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw, with David De Gea in goal.

The midfield sees Fred and Scott McTominay line up alongside France World Cup winner Paul Pogba, who will need to be at the top of his game to counteract the inexperience around him.

Up top, Solskjaer has selected Belgium international Romelu Lukaku to lead his line while Marcus Rashford moves out left.

Young Portuguese right-back Diogo Dalot will then play on the other flank.
