Man Utd target Tanguy Ndombele makes transfer admission about one Premier League side

Tanguy Ndombele has spoken out about Tottenham's interest in him, saying who wouldn't be keen on signing for a big club.

The Lyon midfielder has been on the radar of both Manchester United and Spurs this transfer window, but neither club is yet to make a move for him.

Tottenham are in need of midfield recruits as Christian Eriksen eyes the exit amid Real Madrid's reported interest in signing the Dane.

Manchester United are also looking to bolster the middle of their park following the departure of Ander Herrera on a free transfer.

United could also lose Paul Pogba this summer after the World Cup winner publicly announced it may be the right time for him to move on.

But it appears Tottenham are leading the way in the race for Ndombele after the midfielder name-dropped the Champions League finalists in a recent interview.

"Yes, it's true that Tottenham are a great team," Ndombele told Telefoot.

"They are a big club, they finished fourth in their league, they reached the Champions League final, they are still a big club like any other.

"Which player would not be interested in a big club?"
