Man Utd target Jadon Sancho's transfer stance revealed, Liverpool make big decision on £20m star and Leeds to battle Newcastle for Wales ace — transfer rumours

Here are the latest transfer rumours and gossip coming from the Premier League.

New deal on offer for Sancho if Man Utd deal fails

Borussia Dortmund will offer Jadon Sancho a new deal and a significant pay rise if Manchester United do not meet their deadline, according to reports in Germany.

The England international is the subject of a long-running transfer saga as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to land his top target.

While the Mirror report that personal terms are close to being agreed, Sancho is said to have informed Borussia Dortmund he will remain entirely dedicated and committed to the club if his Old Trafford move does not materialise.

Kicker claim Sancho reassured Dortmund he will "work with the same dedication and commitment for the success of BVB" if the transfer falls through.

United have been set a deadline of August 10 in order to meet Dortmund’s £108million valuation of Sancho, although reports have suggested they have not wanted to rush a deal as they look to avoid paying over the odds.

Liverpool's Harry Wilson won't be loaned out again

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will bring Harry Wilson back into the Anfield fold if a £20million move fails to materialise, ruling out a third year on loan for the gifted Welsh youngster.

Wilson has already enjoyed loan spells with Derby and Bournemouth, but Klopp is set to take the 23-year-old on pre-season training unless a permanent move away from Anfield can be finalised.

The Liverpool Echo report that the club will only consider permanent offers in excess of £20m, with Newcastle, Southampton and Leeds United said to have made contact about Wilson.

But if a permanent deal cannot be done, Klopp wants to also see Wilson close up in pre-season and plans to keep him in the Liverpool fold for 2020-21 to battle for a place in the side.

Lacazette set for Atletico switch

Alexandra Lacazette will reportedly join Atletico Madrid once Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang signs a new deal at Arsenal.

The Gabon international is thought to be close to extending his stay in north London, although that could spell the end for his strike partner with the Gunners.

According to the Daily Star, Lacazette is on course for a £30million move to Spain, having nearly joined Diego Simeone’s side back in 2017.

The Frenchman is said to be unhappy to be no more than a bit-part figure in Mikel Arteta’s plans going forward, with his place under threat as Arsenal close in on the signing of Willian.

Lampard looking to snap up Stones

Chelsea are looking to sign Manchester City defender John Stones as Frank Lampard looks to overhaul his defence ahead of the new season.

Stones has fallen down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola following the signing of Nathan Ake from Bournemouth, as well as a number of below-par performances last season.

Lampard could therefore look to pounce, and – according to The Mirror – could land the England international in a bargain £20million deal.

The Chelsea boss is aiming to overhaul his defence ahead of the news season, with the Blues also reportedly joining Leeds United and Liverpool in the race to sign Brighton’s Ben White.
