Man Utd star Paul Pogba delivered 'what we want from him' in Leicester win, says Marcus Rashford

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford hailed improving Paul Pogba after the Frenchman's key pass proved decisive in Sunday's 1-0 win over Leicester.

England international Rashford scored his eighth goal in 13 outings to earn the victory at the King Power Stadium.

Pogba and Rashford combined to seal another victory and the pair now have 12 goals under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer having struggled so badly when Jose Mourinho was at the helm.

"I think it was hugely important [to win]. We just keep trying to improve ourselves," Rashford told Sky Sports.

"The last result [2-2 against Burnley] wasn't what we wanted so had to improve and we did that today. Different type of game, different challenges, and it was very difficult, so to get the win was very good."

Rashford planted a header woefully over from four yards inside the first five minutes, but redeemed himself five minutes later with a clinical finish.

Ricardo Pereira gifted Pogba possession and the midfielder executed a glorious lofted pass to find Rashford, who buried a low shot past Kasper Schmeichel from 12 yards.

Rashford added: "Time and time again, he [Paul Pogba] provides opportunities for the team and that's what we want from him. If we can get him free then he can make these passes all day long, he'll find you.
