Man Utd star Bruno Fernandes criticises area of his own game after Everton draw

Bruno Fernandes believes his shooting from outside the box should be much better despite scoring from range against Everton .

The Manchester United midfielder netted his third goal since arriving for £46million in January and has made a real impact on the team so far.

Admittedly Pickford should have done better for the goal but the strike from Fernandes was hit cleanly.

The 25-year-old continued to be a handful in the second half but failed to really trouble the Everton shot-stopper.

Describing his goal and identifying where he needs to improve, Fernandes told MUTV: "It was a shot. I am happy the ball goes in, it doesn't matter how it goes in, the important thing is the goal.

"In the second-half we created a lot of chances and the last minutes we had some chance to score and the last one with Ighalo if he scores there now we are talking about a different situation.

"Also I had some shots outside of the box and I can do much better, but obviously the game goes like this, and we need to focus on the game against Derby.

"You are never happy when you don't win a game but obviously the game was really difficult and I think one point can be good, but three points would be much better."

When asked about the impact Fernandes has made so far, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was once again full of praise for his latest aquisition.

He’s a good player and we have been missing that type of player to do that for us," he said. "I’m very pleased with his contribution.”
