Man Utd star Antonio Valencia drops huge social media hint he's leaving

Antonio Valencia has apparently confirmed he will be leaving Manchester United at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old defender took to social media on Saturday to upload an image of the Sir Alex Ferguson stand at Old Trafford along with the caption "Thank You".

Valencia's Red Devils contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and there was speculation that he could get a new short-term deal in the summer.

But Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently confirmed that Valencia will not be handed an extension, meaning he will leave the club on a free.

Man Utd 'keen on signing Kieran Trippier' - but fans are NOT happy about transfer

The right-back has made just eight appearances for Manchester United this season, with Solskjaer favouring Ashley Young, and Diogo Dalot over him.

The Red Devils are also in the market for a new right-back in the summer, with Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka at the top of their wishlist.

Valencia was signed by legendary Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson from Wigan for £16million back in 2009.

The winger enjoyed ten seasons at Old Trafford in which he won two Premier League trophies, one FA Cup and the Europa League.
