Man Utd squad vs RB Leipzig includes Brandon Williams and Facundo Pellistri

Manchester United have included Facundo Pellistri in their Champions League squad to face RB Leipzig.

The Uruguayan, who was purchased on transfer deadline day for a fee of around £7.5million, has yet to make a senior appearance for his new club.

Pellistri is unlikely to feature from the start against the current Bundesliga leaders but could make a late appearance at Old Trafford.

Brandon Williams, who has found his game time limited to just two Carabao Cup appearances so far this season, is also included in the squad.

As is Edinson Cavani who made his debut at the weekend against Chelsea. With Anthony Martial available for this match it's hard to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer starting the former PSG striker from the off.

The United players were snapped entering their team hotel but there was no sign of Alex Telles or Victor Lindeolof.

Speaking ahead of the fixture, Solskjaer said: "Of course we’ve followed Leipzig the last few years especially in Europe. I know Julian is very adaptable, but the style is always high tempo, high pressure.

"They can play in many different ways, but our focus is on giving them problems as well as solving what problems they give us.”

He added: "They have improved every season. They’re doing well and now going for the trophies.

They have a young and interesting coach who is interesting to watch. They’re interesting to follow at the moment."
