Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford are set to return for Manchester United in their Premier League clash with Arsenal on Monday.
The pair were in a race to get fit for the match at Old Trafford and have both come through late fitness tests at the club's Carrington training base.
Ahead of the game Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted he wouldn't put his life on Rashford returning, suggesting he may not play the entirety of the Arsenal match.
As for Pogba he said: "He got a knock to his ankle, which is very swollen. So it was better for him not to go there with the team and he's in a race for Monday. That's just the way it is."
Manchester United have been looking light up top in recent weeks due to the club's decision not to replace Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial picking up an injury.
On United's lack of firepower, Solskjaer added: "We need to score more goals, definitely. We're working on improving the relationships, the patterns, the understanding.
"We've started at one end with the foundations, I think that we've done great defensively but we're not happy with the return going forward."
