Man Utd squad revealed for Wolves as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer handed double boost

Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku are expected to be available for Manchester United when they travel to Wolves on Tuesday night.

Martial scored what turned out to be the winner in United's 2-1 victory over Watford but later limped off at Old Trafford over the weekend, while Lukaku has been struggling with a foot injury in recent weeks.

Solskjaer, though, revealed that the forward pair are in contention for the trip to Molineux. Alexis Sanchez, Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian continue to miss out, however.

Solskjaer added: "Both will be ready for tomorrow, definitely. It looks good."

The Norwegian may also bring Victor Lindelof back into the side after the Swedish centre back was left out of the victory over the Hornets.

Lindelof was 'better off not playing' after he had received 'sick threats' following his withdrawal from the Sweden squad during the international break - with his wife, Maja, recently giving birth to the couple's first son.

Solskjaer last week became United's permanent manager on a three-year contract following a successful spell as interim boss in recent months.

His position is expected to be supplemented by the creation of the role of sporting director or technical director, with Solskjaer acknowledging that he cannot carry the burden - as managers such as Sir Alex Ferguson did in the past.

Solskjaer added: "Football has changed and the structure at football clubs have changed. That's just the way football goes.

What Man Utd are planning to do with Juan Mata as he's linked with exit

"A manager can't do as much as he used to do when my gaffer started, for example.

"Me and Ed (Woodward, executive vice-chairman) and Joel (Glazer, co-chairman), we are looking at how can this club be run as smoothly and as well as possible.

"We'll see what the club will end up with and I'm happy talking and discussing football with knowledgeable people in the right positions."

Man United squad: De Gea, Romero, Grant, Dalot, Young, Lindelof, Smalling, Rojo, Shaw, Pereira, Matic, McTominay, Pogba, Herrera, Fred, Mata, Lingard, Martial, Lukaku, Rashford.
