Man Utd squad revealed ahead of crunch Watford Premier League clash

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is sweating over the fitness of several Manchester United stars ahead of his first Premier League game as permanent boss.

Solskjaer was confirmed as Jose Mourinho's long-term successor on a three-year deal on Thursday morning, two days before the visit of Watford .

Javi Gracia takes his in-form Hornets to Old Trafford hoping to upset the odds on the Norwegian's big day. And Solskjaer has players to assess before he names his side for the crunch clash.

Several United players withdrew from international duty through injury over the past 10 days.

There are questions over the fitness of Nemanja Matic, Romelu Lukaku, Luke Shaw and Anthony Martial after they pulled out of playing in internationals.

Antonio Valencia played for Ecuador and should return to contention, but Alexis Sanchez is out with a knee issue. Ashley Young is available after serving a suspension against Wolves in the FA Cup.

"I'm just going to be myself as I've always been," Solskjaer said at his unveiling.

"I know the expectations of the club, the traditions of the club, the history we've got.

"Of course, I want to be successful, of course I want to lift trophies, but I can't wait to get onto the job, onto the challenge of improving this great bunch of players because it's a squad full of potential.

"I worked with them - or we have as a staff - for three months and the improvement is there to be seen."
