These are your latest transfer rumours from the Premier League and beyond on Monday, January 10.
United's Declan Rice alternative found
Manchester United have identified Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara as a cheaper alternative to Declan Rice.
The West Ham man would cost the Red Devils close to £100million to sign, and prising him away from the Hammers this month would be extremely difficult.
The Mirror report that a tug of war is breaking out over Kamara, who has just entered the last six months of his deal, meaning he is free to discuss pre-contact terms with suitors.
Newcastle United and the east Londoners themselves are also keen on Kamara.
Liverpool on brink of triggering clause
Liverpool have edged even closer to triggering the release clause of Porto striker Luis Diaz.
The forward has been linked with the Reds for some time, and has a €80m release clause, with the Premier League club prepared at this stage to pay more than €70m.
Diaz scored again at the weekend to keep his name in the headlines, with A Bola (via SportWitness ) stating that Dragons president Pinto da Costa is "between the sword and the wall" with Liverpool prepared to offer big for their star man.
£55m flop on way out of Spurs
Tanguy Ndombele, Tottenham's record signing, is looking for a way out of the club this month.
Spurs signed the 25-year-old France midfielder for a fee of £55million back in July 2019 from Lyon.
But he has failed to live up to the hype or price tag and told the London club he wanted to leave last summer.
He was booed off by supporters when subbed in the 3-1 FA Cup win over Morecambe at the weekend.
The issue remains his £200k a week wages, report The Athletic. Barcelona have been interested in the past but his future remains uncertain at Spurs.
Spurs expecting Rodon interest
The Daily Mail report that Tottenham are expecting loan interest in Wales star Joe Rodon this month.
The centre-back has failed to nail down a place in the Spurs starting XI under Antonio Conte, but he has been carrying an injury for some time.
He started the FA Cup win over Morecambe, but the Mail state that Rodon and Japhet Tanganga continue to be the subject of loan interest.
Newcastle United and Brighton have been linked with for the former Swansea City central defender.
Former Swan wanted by Arsenal and AC Milan
Reports in France state ex-Swansea City loan man Renato Sanches is attracting interest from Arsenal, AC Milan and Juventus.
The Portuguese spent a dismal season with Swansea during their Premier League years and had his stint terminated early.
Since then he has enjoyed something of a renaissance in France with Lille. But Sanches could be on the move this month, with interest stirring in the former Bayern Munich midfielder.
“Maybe Milan and Arsenal are interested but I don’t know,” Sanches said previously.
“I spoke with my agent, I know which clubs are calling and which are not, but I can’t tell now. But I know I’m ready. If an offer comes in, I’ll find out what’s best for me.”
