Man Utd release new third kit as Red Devils drop Paul Pogba hint

Manchester United have revealed their third kit for this season and it appears to suggest Paul Pogba is set to stay at the club for the foreseeable future.

The Adidas-sponsored strip has a grey-black tone and pays homage to United's first of 12 FA Cup wins, which came in 1909 when a Sandy Turnbull goal gave them a 1-0 win over Bristol City.

Despite being linked with a summer move to Real Madrid Pogba is amongst the United players seen modelling the kit, with the likes of Jesse Lingard, Daniel James and Luke Shaw also involved in the reveal.

The kit also contains a tribute to the shirt of 110 years ago as it has the same Lancashire red rose crest that was printed on that original shirt.

There is an inscription of the bottom left side of the new shirt which reads: "110 Years- Manchester Rose- 1909-2019".

The kit is now available to buy from United Direct, the Old Trafford Megastore and adidas.com.

There was a mixed response to the reveal on Twitter , with some supporters more enamored than others over the kit.

One user said "I need this in my life", with another adding "I must say... our kits this year are great. Especially love that third kit."

Others were less impressed, however, with one tweeting "It looks like they've just recycled the 15/16 third kit" and another adding "Nothing too special about this one."

It remains to be seen when fans will see the first-team wearing the kit for the first time, but they will hope it brings them success this season, with United having got off to the perfect start to the campaign with a 4-0 win over Chelsea at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will hope to continue their fine start when they take on Wolves at Molineux on Monday night.
