Man Utd predicted lineup vs Sheffield United with Paul Pogba set to start

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was delighted with Paul Pogba's display in Friday night's draw at Tottenham.

Now he must decide how to fit him best in his lineup when Sheffield United visit Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

The World Cup winner made a crucial cameo from the bench in North London, winning the penalty from which Bruno Fernandes salvaged a 1-1 draw.

Pogba was bright and inventive as United pushed for an equaliser, taking the game by the scruff of the neck.

And he dovetailed nicely with the Portuguese January signing, as they played together for the first time in the Premier League.

With United chasing the game, Fernandes operated in his preferred No.10 role, with Pogba behind alongside Scott McTominay at the base of midfield.

Now Solskjaer must decide whether sliding Pogba into that position once more is the right thing to do, or whether a change of formation is required to get the best out of both men against Chris Wilder's side.

He must also decide who of his midfield options misses out, be it Scott McTominay, Fred, or potentially even Daniel James.

The Norwegian has no fresh injury concerns heading into Wednesday's clash.

Victor Lindelof was forced off during the second half of Friday's return but Solskjaer has indicated the Sweden international is fit to start alongside skipper Harry Maguire.

Defenders Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones remain injured however.

The visitors will be without goalkeeper Dean Henderson - unable to play against his parent club - and John Egan, suspended after his weekend red card.

Predicted Man Utd XI (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; McTominay, Pogba; James, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial
