Ralf Rangnick is set to ring the changes and name a completely different Manchester United line-up for his second game at the helm.
The Red Devils saw off Crystal Palace on Sunday in what was the German's Premier League debut.
Three days later and they are again back in action, this time in Europe as they face Swiss side Young Boys, who beat them earlier this season.
United have secured Champions League qualification meaning they can rest some of their more established players and give Rangnick a chance to view his other options.
A host of fringe players are set to get the opportunity with Nemanja Matic confirmed as captain.
Rangnick claimed he has not yet decided on all 11 names, but was already planning for the hectic festive period.
He said: "I haven't finally decided (my team) but it makes sense we will rest a few players due to the crowded fixture list.

"We need to make sure we have as many recovered players as possible but also need the positive momentum.
"The first game in this group we lost at Young Boys so we need to make up for that."
Dean Henderson, whose season ambitions were hit by Covid in pre-season, is set to start in goal behind a completely new look back four that will see Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka return.
Eric Bailly could be handed another opportunity at the heart of the back four.
Matic is poised to start alongside Donny van de Beek at the heart of midfield as the Dutchman attempts to become a regular under the new regime.
"Well to start with they will both play tomorrow, in the first XI," said Rangnick.
"Donny came on as a sub last Sunday. Dean is a very ambitious 'keeper, we need two."
Jesse Lingard, whose contract is soon to be up, could start in a forward role having been left out on Sunday.
Mason Greenwood is set to be partnered in attack by fellow youngster Anthony Elanga, who was given brief opportunities under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Rangnick has firmly challenged those starting in Wednesday's European clash to stake their case for more involvement.
He said: "Everybody has the chance to perform and present themselves. I am happy to give game time to quite a few of them tomorrow.
"Perfect opportunity to get to know the players."
Man Utd predicted line-up (4-2-2-2): Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Mengi, Bailly, Shaw; Matic, Van de Beek; Mata, Lingard; Greenwood, Elanga.
