Man Utd predicted line up vs Wolves as Bruno Fernandes gets set for debut

Bruno Fernandes will "definitely" be involved for Manchester United at Old Trafford this evening.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side take on Wolves with their Portuguese recruit set to announce himself to the Premier League following his move from Sporting Lisbon.

The 25-year-old arrives in the north east with high expectations following a prolific period in his native Portugal.

“He's fit enough to play and he'll be involved definitely," said Solskjaer on Friday.

"He'll be in the squad. Let's get the training out of the way today. He's had of course a few hectic days now and even with his little daughter's three-year birthday yesterday, so I don't know how much he will be involved, but he's in the squad.”

Deadline day signing Odion Ighalo will not feature in a game that could see United close to within three-point of fourth place dependant on how Chelsea get on at Leicester in the lunchtime kick-off.

Anthony Martial will lead the line with Fernandes expected to assume a role as the No 10.

Juan Mata and Daniel James will also add to the attacking threat with Andreas Pereira and Fred being deployed in the centre of midfield.

Solskjaer will rely on his usual centre-back pairing of Victor Lindelof and captain Harry Maguire with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams providing the width.

The Norwegian has already joked about United's familiarity with tonight's opponents having faced them several times recently.

Their most recent meeting saw Mata score the winner in an FA Cup replay but United don't anticipate too many surprises from Wolves, who could leapfrog them with a win.

Solskjaer added: "Wolverhampton and us I think we know each other really well. It's the sixth time since March that we've played against them, the fourth time this season.

"So I don't think there'll be too many surprises from either coach or there might be, you never know."

Man Utd (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Williams; Fred, Pereira; James, Fernandes, Mata; Martial
