Man Utd predicted line-up vs Aston Villa as Red Devils look to maintain top four charge

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to keep faith with youngster Mason Greenwood following the striker's impressive two-goal performance against Bournemouth.

The 18-year-old was on target twice for United in the 5-2 win at the weekend, and will be handed another starting berth for the trip to Villa Park on Thursday.

United come up against an Aston Villa side scrapping for points in the relegation battle, and Solskjaer is pulling no punches with his team selection.

Greenwood is set to link-up again with strike partners Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in attack - both of whom were also on the scoresheet on Saturday.

The trio have now netted 55 goals between them this season in all competitions, and have been boosted by the service of Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba behind them in midfield.

Both superstars will again start alongside each other in the centre of the park for United, following Fernandes' splendid curling free-kick in their last outing.

Nemanja Matic will again occupy the holding role as he looks to continue the impressive form which earned him a new three-year contract this week.

Meanwhile Victor Lindelof is expected to be given the green light by United's medical team after he suffered a back injury in the victory over the Cherries.

The Swedish defender was replaced at half-time during Saturday's fixture, but Solskjaer was always confident he would recover in time for the Villa clash.

He makes up the usual back four, alongside Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, as Solskjaer names an unchanged lineup with David de Gea between the sticks in goal.

A win would put United just a point behind fourth-place Leicester in the table with four games left to seal a Champions League spot.

United will also be looking to stretch their impressive 16-game unbeaten run, while Solskjaer will have chance to cast a closer eye over transfer target Jack Grealish, who captains the opposition.

Man Utd XI (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; Pogba, Matic; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial.
