Man Utd players are 'blaming each other' as they face 25 per cent wage cut

The Manchester United players are blaming each other for their impending salary decreases after missing out on the top four, according to reports.

The Red Devils had to beat relegated Huddersfield at the John Smith's Stadium last time out to keep their Champions League qualification hopes alive, but could only muster a draw.

The players are now set to lose a quarter of their wages as a result of missing out on the financial windfall generated by qualifying for Europe's elite competition.

The Red Devils already have a reputation among agents as a club who deducts from salaries if the team doesn't qualify for the Champions League.
