Andriy Yarmolenko and Aaron Cresswell were on target as West Ham beat Manchester United .
West Ham took the lead on the stroke of half-time when Yarmolenko drilled a low left-footed shot past David De Gea and inside the far corner of the net.
United's chances of mounting a comeback were dealt a blow after the break when Marcus Rashford limped off.
Their hopes were extinguished six minutes from time when Cresswell curled home an unstoppable free-kick to wrap up a deserved victory for the Hammers.

James 6: Unable to exert his influence here as he has done so far this season.
Rashford 5: Looked to have have injured his groin when he pulled up under no challenge whatsoever.
