Manchester United ended the season with yet another disappointing defeat after they were beaten 2-0 by Cardiff at Old Trafford.
This was the Bluebirds' first win at Old Trafford since 1960, and saw them end their season on a positive note following relegation.
Cardiff struck first after Diogo Dalot took down Nathaniel Mendez-Laing in the area. The same player confidently buried his penalty to give the Bluebirds a surprise lead.
After the break United pressed for an equaliser but it was the visitors who extended their advantage in the 54th minute when Mendez-Laing struck again.
The result was a nightmare ending to the season for United, who now face a summer of major rebuilding under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
