Man Utd player ratings from Wolves clash as Romelu Lukaku and Fred disappoint

Manchester United wasted a golden chance to climb into the Premier League's top four as they were pegged back at Molineux.

Scott McTominay fired United into the lead with a stunning long-range drive before the impressive Jota levelled things up.

United were reduced to 10 men on the hour mark when Ashley Young was dismissed for a rash challenge on the Wolves goalscorer.

The visitors were architects of their own downfall as Wolves took the lead through a Chris Smalling own goal after a shambolic mix-up with David De Gea.

The result leaves United in fifth but those around them have a game in hand while Wolves are up to seventh.
