Man Utd offered £72m plus Gareth Bale or Spain star in exchange for Paul Pogba - reports

Manchester United have been offered Welshman Gareth Bale or Isco as part of a swap deal for Paul Pogba, according to reports.

Bale's future with the Spanish giants, for whom he has been with since 2013, has long been up in the air, with various links moving him away from the Bernabeu.

With Zinedine Zidane back in the hot seat at Real Madrid, Manchester United's Paul Pogba is said to be one of the top priorities on his summer transfer list.

Now, Spanish sports newspaper Mundo Deportivo suggest Real are reluctant to meet United’s asking price and would rather include a player in the deal.

They report that Madrid have already told United they will offer £72m plus Bale or Isco in a deal that would secure them Pogba's signature.

It's also being reported that Real Madrid will need Pogba to make it clear he wants to join them by officially handing in a transfer request, or by avoiding United’s upcoming pre-season tour, before an offer is made.

United travel to Australia on Sunday for friendlies in Perth followed by matches in Singapore and China, before playing AC Milan in Cardiff in August.
