Manchester United have announced that the club will be offering free travel for their Europa League trip to Astana to fans who were affected by the collapse of Thomas Cook.
United face Astana in Kazakhstan on Thursday, 28 November, though a number of fans planning on attending the match have suffered following the collapse of travel group Thomas Cook in September.
Thomas Cook Sports had been official travel partners with United and a number of other Premuer League clubs, with the Red Devils confirming that the company had pre-sold a "small number" o tickets and hospitality packages for home games this season as well as travel packages for the upcoming match against Astana.
United have now announced that they will charter an aircraft to and from the game, with free travel for fans who have proof of booking with Thomas Cook.
A United spokesperson said: "We have been working through a range of contingency plans to minimise the impact of the Thomas Cook situation for our supporters.
"We are pleased to be able to confirm that Manchester United will be operating a complimentary trip to the forthcoming match against FC Astana in Kazakhstan for those who were impacted by the insolvency of Thomas Cook.
"Beyond the Astana fixture, we are investigating longer-term options around facilitating European travel for out loyal fans."
The flight will leave on Wednesday evening (November 27), and return immediately following the match on Thursday.
United have advised fans who booked with Thomas Cook to email their PDF booking confirmation to tickets@manutd.co.uk before 12pm GMT on Monday, 4 November.
Other ticket-holding fans can also register their interest by emailing the same address before 12pm on Tuesday, 65 November.
United have also advised that there is unlikely to be space for supporters who do not have official tickets.
