Manchester United's senior teams will travel together to Norway for a pre-season trip for the first time in July.
United's men will take on manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's hometown team Kristiansund on July 30 as part of their pre-season schedule.
The women's team will also travel to Scandinavia after their promotion to the Women's Super League and face Valerenga the following day in Oslo.
After a disappointing campaign in which United finished outside the top four for the third time in the last four seasons, Solskjaer wants his side to return ahead of the 2019-20 feeling confident.
"We want to hit the ground running and give ourselves a chance to challenge once the new campaign starts," the United manager said.
"The best way to do that is with some momentum behind you."
The Red Devils avoided a potential disaster of dropping down to the Europa League qualifying round after arch rivals Manchester City beat Watford in the FA Cup final.
The women's team, meanwhile, won the second-tier Championship 11 months after the team was relaunched having been scrapped in 2005.

"We can't wait, it's a fantastic city and it will be a great game," women's team manager Casey Stoney said.
"It'll be a good test for us to build into the new season. We're really thankful that they have invited us over to play in this game."
