Man Utd 'make move for' £40m defender, Liverpool and Arsenal hit by Ajax transfer snub as Wilfried Zaha wants Crystal Palace exit

The latest Premier League transfer gossip.

United look to Germany for centre-back

Manchester United are looking to the Bundesliga to solve their defensive woes.

United have arguably been without a solid centre-back since the departures of Rio Ferdinand and Nemanjia Vidic, and have now identified Bayern Munich centre back Niklas Sule as their summer priority.

According to the Mirror, the defender will cost them in the region of £40million.

United have also been strongly linked with Jerome Boateng, Toby Alderweireld, Harry Maguire, Diego Godin and Samuel Umtiti among others last year.

Liverpool and Arsenal snubbed

Liverpool and Arsenal look to have been thwarted in their attempts to sign Nicolas Tagliafico.

The Ajax star's agent has hinted that Serie A is his likely destination this summer.

The 26-year-old's agent noted that Ajax "do not want to sell" but that does not seemed to have deterred the representative from speculating over his client's future.

Zaha to leave Selhurst?

The Mirror are reporting that Wilfried Zaha wants to leave Crystal Palace in his pursuit of Champions League football.

The winger has left Selhurst Park once before - a failed move to Manchester United - but the national outlet now state that Zaha wants to move on to play at the highest level possible.

Lukaku the fall guy

The Telegraph claims that Manchester United are willing to sell striker Romelu Lukuaku this summer with Inter Milan, Paris St-Germain and Bayern Munich all interested in the Belgian’s signature.

Lukaku has scored just 12 Premier League goals this term - his worst return since 2014/2015 - and has fallen behind Marcus Rashford in the pecking order.

Tottenham to raid Ajax again

Tottenham are keen on bringing Ajax teenage sensation Matthijs de Ligt to White Hart Lane this summer according to Football Insider.

Mauricio Pochettino has been monitoring De Ligt’s progress over the past few seasons since he broke into the Ajax starting XI and is keen to make him Spurs’ first signing since January 2018.

Tottenham have done plenty of business with Ajax before, signing Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen and Davinson Sanchez directly from the 33-times Eredivisie champions.

The Argentine will get a close up of the 19-year-old when the clubs meet later this month in the last-four of the Champions League.
