Man Utd legend Roy Keane joins Sky Sports as pundit for rest of Premier League season

Sky Sports have signed Manchester United legend Roy Keane as a pundit for the rest of the Premier League season.

Keane, who is known for his hard opinions on the game through previous punditry work with ITV, will make his debut on Super Sunday this weekend.

He will look over the 'London Calling' fixtures, as West Ham host United before Chelsea vs Liverpool later in the day.

Keane will now debate the Premier League's biggest fixtures alongside the likes of Graeme Souness, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher.

"I've worked with Sky Sports quite a few times over the years and it's always been an experience I've enjoyed, so this makes absolute sense," said Keane.

"While I'm not coaching I still want to be involved in the game and in some ways, this is the next best thing.

"It's a game of opinions, I've never shied away from giving mine and that's only going to continue this season.

"Sky Sports has always been famous for the heated debates - I look forward to starting a few more."

Sky Sports have drafted in a raft of big names in recent times, with Jose Mourinho among the high profile personalities to analyse live action with the Sky team.

In one of his most recent punditry appearances, Keane laid into the England squad for "not taking it seriously" in their Euro 2020 qualifier against Kosovo, which they won 5-3.

He has also been vocal about the performances of Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire during this season - with plenty more of that to come.
