Man Utd legend Gary Neville mocks Liverpool FC and Jamie Carragher with hilarious title prediction

Manchester United great Gary Neville is good friends with Jamie Carragher but still loves to stick the boot in on the Liverpool legend when he can.

The two went head to head during their playing days as arch-rivals playing for Man Utd and Liverpool respectively but now often share the commentary booth as pundits for Sky Sports.

Neville has had to watch on this season with a grimace as Liverpool lead the Premier League by two points above Manchester City, while United sit way back in sixth.

The former United defender is much better at remaining impartial during commentaries as opposed to Carragher, but still enjoyed winding up the ex-Liverpool star with a hilarious prediction on how the season is going to finish.

Neville took part in the  The Grand Slam Challenge on Thursday ahead of the start of the Masters Golf tournament in the USA and offered up a cheeky title race prediction.

Neville beat Carragher and threw some shade Liverpool's way during the challenge.

"This is exactly what's going to happen to Liverpool at the end of the season," Neville said as he hoped for Carragher to slip up.

"The bottle, the nerve, it's all going to kick in and fall apart right in front of my little eyes.

"Hit the post, hit the bar, the referee cost us. The excuses will be coming out."
